When we decided to sell our home, we spent several weeks analyzing the data available on the top selling agents in our area. We narrowed our options down to a short list of three.  During a series of face-to-face interviews Nikki Lagouros quickly emerged as the front-runner and also the best choice for our family. Here are a few highlights from our experience. Nikki is an extremely adept listener. She was completely respectful of our personal priorities in the selling process. From start to finish Nikki did not pressure or disregard us. Throughout the process Nikki's response time was exceptional. Initially, she was the only realtor that personally answered the phone. (All others went to voicemail.) From that time on, Nikki responded within 2 hours of a reach from one of us. When she was going to be unable to respond in that timeframe she told us beforehand. Nikki put together a shared document with detailed timelines and expectations for all parties involved in our sale, including us. Then she managed all parties.  We did not have to inquire once about expectations or timeframes.  Nor did her team ever fail to deliver by the timeline set. Nikki is smart! and current in the strategies she used to help position our house to sell. For instance, she is adept at employing the emerging online marketing strategies related to selling homes. Additionally, she increased the strength and personal feel to the narrative describing our home by inviting us to help craft it. Finally, Nikki's team is like her~ each member is committed, focused, respectful, kind and highly relational. They were fun to be around; a rarity when selling a home. We had multiple offers and sold quickly! From start to finish Nikki Lagouros exceeded our expectations. We were looking for a realtor that truly understood our local market, and could help us navigate the home sale process. Well, we discovered that they don’t call Nikki “The Best Reston Agent” for no reason! She made some recommendations for a few updates. She then provided us with trusted contacts to take care of everything for us. We appreciated that she even had someone on her team to handle everything with our HOA, and to help stage our home! When you don't know anyone in the area, you hope to find someone as great as Nikki. I had to quickly get from TX to VA to take care of family matters and part of that was unexpectedly selling a family home. I'm a particular person when it comes to getting results, so after putting out an agent form in local Reston groups, getting tons of submissions, and narrowing it down to 5 interviews, I was happy to encounter Nikki. Her degrees in Consumer Psychology and Marketing sold me. As much I appreciate over-communication, I appreciate results more - and she made it happen. We were thrilled with the outcome, the multiple offers, and the ease that she created for us since we had to be back in Texas before the home even hit the market.
