Autumnwood, Dogwood, Glade (pool and spa), Golf Course Island, Hunters Woods (pool and spa), Lake Audubon, Lake Newport, Lake Thoreau (pool and spa), Newbridge, North Hills (pool and spa), North Shore (heated pool and spa), Ridge Heights (heated), Shadowood (heated), Tall Oaks and Uplands.

The 2026 Season, Stage by Stage
- May 9 to 22: North Shore and Ridge Heights (both heated) only.
- May 23 to June 19: nine pools, most on weekends only; Lake Newport (Monday to Thursday), Lake Thoreau, North Shore and Ridge Heights also open weekdays.
- June 20 to August 21: all 15 pools, each with set hours and one weekly closed day; Lake Thoreau and North Shore add lap and fitness swim times.
- August 22 to September 7 (Labor Day): eight pools, several weekends only.
- September 8 to 20: Lake Newport (fitness swim only), North Shore and Ridge Heights.

Swim Team Culture: RSTA
The Reston Swim Team Association (RSTA) runs a summer league based at RA pools, with teams tied to individual pools, dual meets on Saturdays in June and July, an IM meet and an All Stars meet in late July. In 2026, RA’s exceptions schedule had four host pools opening late at 1 p.m. on each meet Saturday, Lake Newport closing early for the IM meet on July 15, and Lake Newport opening at 1:30 p.m. for All Stars on July 25. If you are touring homes near a pool on a June Saturday morning, expect a crowd and full parking.

Passes, Guests and Non-Members
