Living on a Reston Lake
- Reston Association rules: docks, boats, shoreline plantings and exterior changes go through RA rules and design review. See Reston Association fees and rules.
- No swimming: the lakes are storm water facilities and swimming is prohibited.
- Cluster rules: many lakefront homes are also in a cluster association with its own rules and fees.
