When you’re choosing a realtor, don’t just take someone’s word for it. Look at the source. Here’s where my numbers come from, and what they actually show.
Watch: How to Choose a Realtor in Reston (2026 Rankings Explained)
#1 Selling Realtor in Northern Virginia by Units Sold, and #1 in Reston by Volume and Units Sold, Since 2020
I’m the #1 selling realtor in Northern Virginia by units sold, and #1 in Reston by volume and units sold, since 2020.
Based on RealTrends’ Virginia sales rankings, along with my own transaction records from 2020 through 2026.
#1 Realtor in Reston, VA
RealTrends Verified is an independent, third-party ranking of realtor performance based on closed transaction data. According to their rankings, I’m the #1 realtor in Reston, VA, both by total sales volume and by number of transaction sides closed. That’s based on verified closed-transaction data, not anything self-reported.

RealTrends Verified 2026: Reston Rankings in Detail
In the RealTrends Verified 2026 city rankings for individual realtors in Reston, VA (released July 10, 2026, based on 2025 closed transactions), I rank:
| Ranking | Result | Source |
|---|---|---|
| Reston, VA individual realtors by sales volume | #1 ($87.61M) | RealTrends Verified 2026 (2025 data) |
| Reston, VA individual realtors by transaction sides | #1 (117 sides) | RealTrends Verified 2026 (2025 data) |
| National award | The Thousand by Sides | RealTrends Verified profile |
A transaction side is one side of a closed sale: representing the seller is one side and representing the buyer is another. Sides are how RealTrends counts closed business, so “117 sides” means 117 closed transaction sides in 2025.
How these rankings work
- Reston rankings: RealTrends ranks each realtor in their home market, which for me is Reston. The 2026 program uses 2025 closed-transaction data.
- Northern Virginia ranking: “#1 selling realtor in Northern Virginia by units sold since 2020” is based on RealTrends’ Virginia sales rankings and my own transaction records.
- Listing performance: the Bright MLS figures below compare my Reston listings with the area average.
This section is updated when RealTrends publishes its next rankings.

How I Perform for My Clients
Awards aside, here’s how my results actually compare on a transaction-by-transaction basis. These numbers are sourced to Bright MLS, the regional multiple listing service covering the DC, Maryland, and Virginia market:
- 45% faster average time on market than the area average
- $17.88 more per square foot for sellers than the area average
- 101.1% sold-to-list price ratio, meaning homes I’ve listed have sold, on average, above asking price

The Realtors on My Team
The rankings above are mine. The realtors on my team each work directly with their own clients and draw on my team’s pricing data and marketing: Dorian Davis, a realtor licensed in Virginia and Maryland who has lived in Reston since 2015, and Daniel Hendricks, a realtor based in Occoquan who serves Fairfax, Prince William and Arlington Counties.
