FFXnow readers named the Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices PenFed Realty agent #1 in both 2026 Readers’ Choice real estate polls
RESTON, Va. (October 6, 2026) Nikki Lagouros, a Reston-based Realtor with Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices PenFed Realty, has been voted the best real estate agent in Fairfax County for both home buyers and home sellers by readers of FFXnow, the county’s local news site.
Lagouros finished first in FFXnow’s Readers’ Choice poll for Best Real Estate Agent for Sellers in Fairfax, with results published in May 2026. She then finished first again in the poll for Best Real Estate Agent for Buyers in Fairfax, with results published in July 2026. FFXnow readers nominate and vote on local businesses and professionals across Fairfax County.
“Winning both of these polls means a great deal because the votes come from my neighbors, the buyers and sellers I work with every day. Buying a home and selling a home are very different experiences, and I work hard to be the person clients can trust on either side of the table,” said Lagouros.
In its write-up of the buyers’ poll, FFXnow noted that Lagouros, a D.C.-area resident since 2006, uses her background in psychology and residential construction to help clients make informed decisions whether they are buying or selling.
Lagouros has been a licensed Realtor since 2016. She holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Louisiana State University and a master’s degree in clinical and consumer psychology, which she applies to pricing and negotiation. She is a certified Military Relocation Professional (MRP) and a military spouse, and she regularly helps military families relocating to and from Northern Virginia.
She leads a team that includes Realtors Dorian Davis and Daniel Hendricks. The team has earned more than 345 five-star client reviews, as verified by Trustindex.
Buyers and sellers can reach Lagouros and her team at 703-596-5065 or through the contact page.
