There is always something going on at Reston Town Center, the hub of the Reston community. Besides shopping and dining, there are several events happening soon that you will not want to miss!
Outdoor Art Festival
First up is The Northern Virginia Fine Arts Festival, taking place Friday, May 17 through Sunday, May 19 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily.
Now in its 28th year, this independent juried art show is one of the top outdoor art festivals in the country. More than 200 artists will exhibit work in mediums including painting, drawing, sculpture, textiles, photography, jewelry and glass.
Presented by the Greater Reston Arts Center (GRACE), this three-day event kicks off on Festival Friday, with special deals offered by local merchants. Art is for everyone, so bring the kids and let them enjoy the Family Art Park, which hosts a variety of hands-on art activities, a scavenger hunt, story time, and face painting.
Yoga for Everyone
After immersing yourself in art, focus on your body, mind, and spirit at the 11th Annual Love Your Body Yoga Festival, June 9 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Presented by Beloved Yoga in Reston, there are free classes throughout the day at Reston Town Centerโs Main Stage, along with live music, local vendors, and a Kidโs tent.
Foodieโs Paradise
Bring your appetite to the two-day Taste of Reston, held on Friday, June 14 from 4 p.m. to 11 p.m. and Saturday, June 15 from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.
For the past six years, Virginia Living Magazine has recognized the Taste of Reston as โNorthern Virginiaโs Best Food Festival.โ Produced by the Greater Reston Chamber of Commerce, this is the largest food festival in the area and includes culinary delights from local restaurants, beer, wine, and three stages of live entertainment. You can watch cooking demonstrations at the Wine โn Dine area and check out the Family Fun Zone. Top perk of the weekend: garage parking is free throughout this event!
